Yellow Beans The Greek Way
This amazing yellow beans recipe I picked up when I was visiting Greece, the combination of beans, olive oil, garlic and fresh tomatoes makes this side super tasty.
1 lb. fresh organic yellow beans
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, finely sliced
1 organic tomato, finely chopped
½ tsp. organic GF sweet paprika
Sea salt and organic GF freshly ground black pepper
Wash and trim beans, steam beans for 5 minutes, keep ¼ cup of the liquid from steaming the beans
In a large frying pan add olive oil and garlic and sauté until just fragrant about a minute
Add beans and gently stir
Add the ¼ cup of liquid from your beans, salt and pepper to taste, cover and cook on low heat for another five minutes, turn off the heat and keep warm until ready to serve, just before serving stir again and enjoy!
