Simply Perfect Cabbage Crunch

The spring is upon us, and the selection of fresh vegetables and herbs is starting to fill our stores. It is important to have a well-balanced diet to keep our bodies healthy which should include plenty of fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants naming just a few.  This crunchy cabbage salad has a good balance of nutrients and flavour. The combination of mint, basil, garlic, ginger, radishes, onions and apple cider vinegar creates interestingly delicious flavour, and it takes only minutes to make. To your health!



½ medium size organic green cabbage, thinly sliced
1 bunch organic radishes, thinly sliced
½ white or red organic onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp. grated ginger
½ cup fresh organic mint, remove leaves from stem and slice thinly into strips
¼ cup organic fresh organic basil, chopped
2 tbsp. organic GF apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
sea salt and freshly ground organic GF black pepper to taste


Simply add all the ingredients in the same order as listed into a large bowl and toss together
