Flourless Chocolate Cheesecake Cupcakes

When it comes to chocolate cheesecake, smaller portions are always welcome such as these cupcakes. These gluten free flourless chocolate cheesecake cupcakes may look complicated but are simple to make. A small delectable dessert such as these morsels, everyone will love. Ingredients

  • 1 Package of Low Fat Cream Cheese (8 oz.)
  • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp. pure cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
  • 4 organic strawberries, halved and cut into heart shape and or kiwi cut into any shape
  • Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 F
  • Cheese mixture ~ In a mixer cream together, cream cheese, 1/3 cup maple syrup, cocoa powder, egg and vanilla until smooth
  • Crust ~ Add walnuts, 1 tbsp. maple syrup and flax into a food processor, process until a paste is formed
  • Line a cupcake pan for small cupcakes with parchment cupcake liners. Spoon crust mixture evenly into the cupcake liners and lightly pat down
  • Top with cheese mixture and bake for 20 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and gently press strawberry in the middle. Cool and then refrigerate for two hours
