Turmeric and ginger are natures way of helping our bodies lower inflammation. Add chia to the mix and this refreshing apricot turmeric ginger chia smoothie will help to pull toxins from your body and improve your digestive tract. In addition, apricots are low in calories, are a good source of vitamin A, Fiber and packed with antioxidants. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 4 large apricots, halved (I freeze mine for 1/2 an hour before I used them)
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 small lemon, peeled and halved
  • 1 Tbsp. Chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. GF turmeric powder or 1-inch fresh turmeric
  • 1 tsp. Minced ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. GF ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups cold coconut water or non-dairy milk
  • Instructions

  • In a high-speed blender, blend until smooth
