Maple Glazed Butternut Squash

This is a super easy healthy recipe to make and is a great addition to chicken, pork, lamb or beef.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 medium size butternut squash
  • 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
  • Organic black coarsely ground pepper
  • Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 F
  • Peel, cut in half and remove seeds from squash
  • Slice to ¼ inch and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Drizzle with maple syrup and generously sprinkle with cracked black pepper
  • Bake for 10 minutes then turn and bake 5 more minutes
