Award Winning Raw Power Bar

This is truly one of the best raw gluten free power bar, just imagine hazelnuts, walnuts, medjool dates, crystallized ginger, flax, raw cocoa and more. It is nutrient dense and there is no sweetener added. Having one for breakfast, or before a workout or just a snack will keep your energy going for a long time and did I mention it is delicious and hard to stop at one!

Makes 10 bars

Ingredients

½ cup raw organic hazelnuts with skin
½ cup crystallized organic ginger
½ cup unsweetened organic coconut flakes
½ cup organic walnuts
½ cup pitted Medjool dates
2 tbsp. raw organic cocoa powder or pure cocoa powder
1 tbsp. ground organic GF flax seed
2 tsp. organic lemon juice

Instructions

Place all ingredients into a food processor and process until almost smooth
Place mix in between parchment paper and roll out to ¼ inch thickens
Place in in the fridge for 2 - 4 hours before cutting (easier to cut when it is longer in the fridge)
Cut to desired pieces and place in the fridge keeping it in a tight lid container. I usually double the recipe because it will last in the fridge up to three weeks.
