Gluten-Free Savoury Bread Recipe

This hearty gluten-free bread has delicious savoury flavour. It is also dairy, yeast and egg free. You can toast it in the morning with your favourite nut butter or you can serve it with a hearty soup

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Gf flax seeds
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp. GF apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. agave nectar
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup all purpose gluten-free flour blend
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. GF dry rosemary, crushed
  • 1 tsp. GF garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. GF caraway seeds or thyme
  • 1 tsp. GF ground mustard seed
  • 2 tsp. GF aluminum free baking powder
  • Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F
  • Mix flax seeds and water in a medium-size bowl and set aside for 30 minutes Add apple cider vinegar, agave and olive oil and mix
  • Mix remaining ingredients in a separate large bowl. Add wet mixture into dry ingredients and mix until batter forms
  • Add batter into the bread pan lined with parchment paper and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool before removing from the pan
