Gluten-Free Banana Chocolate Bread

If you love banana bread you will love this version. No added bad fats or processed sugars. Simple healthy ingredients and rich delicious taste.

Serves 8 slices family style


  • 1 ¾ cup blanched GF almond flour
  • ¼ cup all purpose GF flour
  • 1 tbsp. organic GF cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. GF baking soda
  • 1 cup GF chocolate chips
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed with a fork
  • 2 organic carrots, grated
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 eggs room temperature, whisked (for egg-free version you can use egg substitute just as good
  • ½ cup warm coconut oil (little warmer then room temperature)
  • Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 F and line a 6 by 8 inch baking pan with parchment paper
  • In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients almond flour, all purpose flour, cinnamon salt, baking soda and chocolate chips
  • In another medium bowl mix bananas, carrots, maple syrup, eggs or (egg sub) and coconut oil
  • Add wet ingredients to dry and combine until all dry ingredients are well covered
  • Pour into the baking pan and bake for 45 minutes. Cool completely before serving.
