Crispy Onion Rings Without Frying

Everyone loves onion rings, wouldn’t it be nice to enjoy them with out the fats of frying. I have experimented with many combinations and this was the best one, you can serve them hot or cold and they will be delicious every time.  Now you can enjoy onion rings and their health benefits. See healing powers of onions

Makes about 1 medium size bowl


2 organic large size red onions, sliced and separated into rings
Egg whites of 2 large organic eggs
½ cup + 1 tbsp. all purpose GF flour (depending how large your egg is, the batter should be runny.
1 tsp. organic GF celery salt


Preheat oven to 450 F
Whisk together egg, flour and celery salt
Dip one of the onion rings in batter until the onion is evenly coated and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
Bake at 450 F for 10 minutes, then flip over and bake 5 more minutes
If love to serve them with my yogurt aioli dip, just mix ½ cup full fat plain organic Greek yogurt + 1 tbsp. GF mustard + 1 minced garlic clove
