Best Gluten Free Veggie Burger Recipe

This jam packed with flavour gluten free veggie burger is a fuss-free recipe. Once you make the burger patties, just pop them in the oven. Serve these moist veggie burgers with your favourite toppings and accompany with greens such as arugula or cabbage or gluten free burger buns. For added flavour, brush the patties with gluten free barbecue sauce or top with cheese for last five minutes of baking time

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. GF chia seeds + ½ cup water, soaked for half an hour
  • 1 large sweet potato (should make 2 cups mashed), peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 2 ½ cups GF cooked quinoa
  • 3 oz. soft goat cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. GF tamari sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. agave nectar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Sea salt and GF black pepper to taste
  • Instructions

  • Cook sweet potatoes in a pot with salted water until tender. About 10 - 12 minutes. Drain and mash with a fork
  • Preheat oven to 400 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients
  • Shape the mixture into eight ½-inch patties and place on the prepared baking sheet
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm
